Dr. Bewar Lateef is a political scientist and researcher in international relations, with a focus on political identity, Nationalism, security studies, and Middle Eastern politics. She completed her Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations at Yonsei University in South Korea. Her research examines nationalism and identity formation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, particularly how political transitions have shaped the evolution of identity and governance in the region.
She is fluent in Kurdish and English, and has strong proficiency in Korean and Arabic. Her academic background covers international relations theory, peace and conflict studies, terrorism, and Middle Eastern politics.
