Professional Experience and Academic Career

1981–1989
Started working at the Scientific Research Council / Building Research Center.
Conducted numerous research projects, worked as a site engineer, and participated in the structural design of several projects.

1984–1987
Completed M.Sc. Degree in Building and Construction Engineering (Building and Concrete Design) at the University of Technology.

End of 1989
After the Scientific Research Council was dissolved, my service was transferred to Al-Mustansiriya University / Civil Engineering Department.
Appointed as Assistant Lecturer, where I was involved in teaching and research activities until the end of 1994.

1995
Transferred to the University of Technology / Building and Construction Engineering Department.
Promoted to Lecturer, continuing teaching duties and collaborating with the Scientific and Engineering Consulting Bureau.

2002–2006
Completed Ph.D. in Structural Engineering (part-time) at the University of Technology / Building and Construction Engineering Department.

2009–2018
Promoted to Assistant Professor.
Taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervised Master’s and Ph.D. students, and participated in numerous thesis and dissertation committees.
