Marwa Muwafaq earned her BA degree in Translation in 2010 from the Department of Translation, College of Arts, University of Mosul. She later completed her MA in English Translation at the same department in 2022 with distinction, ranking among the top three in her cohort.
Her academic background includes extensive study in translation between English and Arabic, as well as in phonology, contrastive grammar, semantics, and pragmatics. Her primary areas of interest are translation studies, particularly lexical ambiguity, and the relationship between language structure and meaning.
She is committed to fostering students’ understanding of translation theory and practice. She combines analytical insight with practical strategies to help students develop linguistic accuracy and cultural awareness in translation tasks.
