Dr Olga Babenko holds a PhD in Philology with a major in Literature, awarded by
the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, G. S. Skovoroda
Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. She also has an MA in Philology,
Teaching English Language and Literature, and an MA in Philology, Teaching
Russian Language and Literature. Her areas of teaching include interpretation of fiction, literary criticism, cross-cultural communication, Anglo-American literature, and methods of teaching English and Russian. Dr Babenko’s research interests primarily focus on the
interpretation of dramatic works and on cross-cultural communication.
