Biography

Ramyar Ismael Jamal is an Assistant. Lecturer of international relations in the department of International relations at Catholic University in Erbil. He has a master of science in international relations gained from university of Milan (Unimi) in Milan in Italy from 2016-2018. He studied his BA degree at University of Kurdistan Hewler (UKH) majoring in politics and international relations from 2013-2016. 

He worked as an assistant lecturer at Knowledge university where he taught Level One, Two, Three, and Four students of the department of International relations. There he worked as the head of academic unit as well as administrator to supervise teachers of the IR department. 

As the head of  Head of Academic at Knowledge University , he supervised Education quality, teachers Scientific papers, files, emails, and names. Holding this position, he also delivered Trainings to the teachers,  Checked Teachers Course books, Interviewed Students on how well did the their teachers delivered

He worked as a research assistant in the center for gender and development studies at the American university in Iraq-Sulemaniyah from 2019-2021 in a project called "Masculinities" funded by UKRI-UK for Research and Innovation in coordination with London School  of Economics. This work required him to collect, analyze, translate and transcribe data on  masculinities, gender studies, GBV, and GBV using Interviews, GBV, doing literature review, conducting pop culture analyses, reviewing proverbs, and political party bylaws. He was selected as a panelist to a Conference in Washington in the Unite States for In October 2020 under the banner of Tarii Research conference funded by Tarii Research Organization. 


 Mr. Ramyar is a receipt of two times  Dean's honor roll for superior academic achievement for the years 2013-2014 & 2015-2016. His academic achievements made him to be a top student at UKH during his undergraduate studies  get selected to study abroad at university of Sciences Po in Reims/France. Mr. Ramyar has studied for two years in the major of English at UKH as well from 2011-2013. He has recently studied for a period of six months at University of Sulemani for pedagogy training course. He has so far studied and worked at Several universities: Three in Europe and Four in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. 

Mr. Ramyar has numerous shared publications, Including Journal Articles written in two languages to a number of international and local journals and Media portals. He was invited as a panelist to a conference under the banner: Volunteerism and the future of Youth. He has in addition took part in some TV show and Radio programs as well as a public speaker, delivering speech to more than a 1000 people. 



Working  as an administrator of learning management system at Knowledge university,  he had to supervise students and Teachers of international relations in terms of technical issues, module uploads, attendance, Quizzes, marks, etc. He also worked in Quality assurance and Health & Safety committees of the university. 
Mr. Ramyar also worked as a teacher of English at a number of English institutes such as Face to Face, Newroz, Alfa, and UKH. He worked as a teaching assistant at UKH in the department of international relations as well. He is the receipt of "Excellence Scholarship" from university of Milan given merely to 50 best international students.
