Biography
Rawsan Hedo was
born in 1983 in Alqush, Nineveh province in Iraq. He holds BA in the English
language from Mustansiriya University,
Baghdad ( 2007). He taught the English language at Mar Qaradagh International
School where he worked as a grade level leader and MYP coordinator. He also
holds an MA in TESOL from Westcliff University in California-Irvine
(2015-2018). In September 2017, he joined the Catholic University in Erbil
(CUE) where he has been working as an assistant researcher at the English Language Department in addition to teaching English
to all preparatory year students. Moreover, Mr. Rawsan was the
coordinator of the Life-Long Learning Centre at the CUE (2019-2020). Currently,
he is the English Language Department Coordinator where he also gives different
language courses.
Rawsan Hedo
also holds an MA in Catholic Educational Leadership from Franciscan University
of Steubenville (2021). He also has the degree of Diploma from the Pontifical
College of Babel for Philosophy and Theology (2012) and is currently a
volunteer as a Catechism teacher at the Diocese of Ankawa/Erbil.
Besides, Mr. Rawsan is a member
of the Apostolic Brotherhood; he gives lectures for the engaged couples in
coordination with the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of Erbil.
