Biography

Mr. Kassas is a dedicated English professional with over 15 years of teaching experience. With an MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in English Language and its Literature from Aleppo University, Syria, Mr. Kassas has a solid academic foundation complemented by a TESOL certification from Arizona State University, USA. Currently serving as an Assistant Lecturer at The Catholic University in Erbil, Mr. Kassas has previously taught at esteemed institutions such as Maarif International Schools, Cambridge International Schools, and Aleppo University. Mr. Kassas's teaching portfolio includes subjects like phonetics and phonology, grammar, academic writing, general linguistics, applied linguistics, and teaching methods. Known for their ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and utilize technology to enhance educational experiences, Mr. Kassas is passionate about fostering critical thinking and intercultural competence in students.
